CONSULTATIONS & FEES

A clear process before any substantive work begins.

We explain the scope, likely cost and next steps before you decide whether to instruct the firm.

HOW IT WORKS

From first enquiry to formal instruction.

01

Initial enquiry

Send a short outline of the matter, the people or organisations involved and any relevant deadline.

02

Conflict and suitability checks

The firm confirms whether it is able to consider the matter and whether further information is required.

03

Consultation

A focused meeting is arranged to understand the issue, identify options and explain the likely next steps.

04

Written scope and fee basis

Where further work is needed, you receive a written scope, fee arrangement and any assumptions or exclusions.

FEES

Clear pricing where the work can be defined.

Fixed fees may be available for defined consultations, document reviews and certain application work.

More complex or ongoing matters may be charged by an agreed staged fee or another written arrangement suited to the work.

Any applicable taxes, filing fees, third-party costs or counsel’s fees will be explained separately where relevant.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
  • A clear description of the work
  • The proposed fee basis
  • Any assumptions or exclusions
  • Likely third-party costs
  • The next steps and expected timetable

CONSULTATION OPTIONS

02

Abuja meeting

In-person consultations may be arranged by prior appointment.

03

Selected Nigerian cities

Meetings in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Owerri may be arranged subject to availability.

Meeting venues are professional appointment locations and are not permanently staffed branch offices.

BEFORE BOOKING

What to send with your enquiry.

A concise initial message helps the firm assess the matter quickly.

  • Your full name and preferred contact details
  • A short summary of the issue
  • The names of the other parties involved
  • Any relevant deadline
  • The type of help you are seeking

IMPORTANT

Submitting an enquiry does not create a lawyer-client relationship.

The firm must first complete any necessary conflict and suitability checks and confirm the terms of engagement in writing.

READY TO START?

Send a short outline of your matter.

We will confirm the next available step and whether a consultation is appropriate.
